Emily Blue – Artwork & Merch

A selection from the body of work I've created in collaboration with the artist Emily Blue (now known as OTNES).
I've been lucky enough to work with Emily and her photographers for several years. In that time I've had the opportunity to make everything from cover art for her songs, to merch for her ever-growing fanbase.
I've made a lot of covers for albums and singles, and this example for Emily's "I Want It" (above) might be my favorite. I'm happy with how the concept came together, and I especially loved having an opportunity to design a black metal-style logo (even though I had to cover half of it up in the end).
A lot of the joy of working with Emily is her constant evolution and reinvention of her visual identity. While certain visual aesthetics carried over through the years, I knew with each new project that we'd be playing in a new space and drawing on new influences.
